Although this ‘Godfather’ is said to be a remake of Mohanlal’s ‘Lucifer’ directed by Prithviraj in Malayalam, the director of the film Mohanraja has taken the plot and made various changes in the screenplay. Those changes are in store for the Telugu entertainment cinema audience.

The first half of the film heats up with the characters and their dual roles. The character designs of Home Minister Varma (Murali Sharma) and PKR’s son-in-law Jaidev (Satyadev Kancharana) add to the interesting flow of the script. However, at some places, the pressure of Jaidev’s character as a villain can be felt.

Even as an earthquake erupts around him, Chiranjeevi responds to everything in his assaultive body language, with fewer lines, facial expressions and emotions. He impresses with his charisma, giving the fans more than enough fodder for a mass entertainer. He makes me melt in the scenes where he says ‘Mama’ to his younger sister. For Chiranjeevi fans, the film is a ripe political treat!
