Under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Accident Treatment Scheme, the government will provide free treatment to road accident victims in 609 government and private hospitals. In this article, we will tell you about the full details of our Protection 48 project.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has implemented 81 life-saving procedures at a cost of Rs. 1 lakh free in 609 government and private hospitals within the first 48 hours of hospital admission. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Our Security 48 program includes people from other states and countries. Our Save 48 program (saving our lives in 48 hours) announced on November 18, 2021 will be offered for one year to all victims of road accidents.

If the victim is unstable or needs continuous medical care post 48 hours, there are three guidelines that are drafted. If they are covered under the CMCHIS and if the treatment is covered under this scheme or not. If not, they would be stabilized and shifted to a government hospital. If the victim is not willing to get treated in a government hospital or prefers treatment under private insurance coverage or paying for treatment, the patient can be stabilized and treated at the same hospital or whichever hospital they preferred,

Tamilnadu Medical Emergencies Act to be Framed

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu said that the 48 schemes that protect us will be provided to all those who do not have insurance, officials said. An amount of `50 crore has been allocated for the first phase of implementation of the Save Life Project (Saving Precious Lives). Procedures performed under the new scheme are not included in the current state insurance scheme.

The TN state government will develop a medical emergency law that focuses on 5 areas: emergency response, recovery and resuscitation, damage control surgeries, rehabilitation and rehabilitation.
